Join Our Team as a Relief Activity Worker working across the Community & Intervention Team!
About Us:The Community & Intervention team is the home of the Positive Futures and Youth and Community teams with Future4Me.We deliver a variety of community based projects and interventions to create safe places and spaces for young people to engage in positive activities, aiming to support their safety and reduce the risk of exploitation and harm.
Role Overview:This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop a supportive relationship with young people, with the aim of using sport and positive activities to support their safety and reduce the risk of exploitation and harm.This role will involve working within targeted communities, planning and delivering youth provision and positive activities to young people.Within, it is important to ensure that young people feel ownership of the sessions, involving them in the planning, decision making and evaluations.You will also work alongside staff to support the delivery of personal and social development opportunities for young people, such as activity days in partnership with local agencies and organisations, as well as the delivery of youth clubs and holiday provision.
What We’re Looking For:We are looking to recruit 6 relief positions to compliment our staffing offer across the City of Lincoln and West Lindsey. We are looking for enthusiasticand dedicated people with relevant qualifications and experience in delivering community-based sports and youth work programs.
