About the role

Vision for Education is working in partnership with several specialist schools in Batley to recruit an Activity Support Officer to work with children with SLD, PMLD, Learning, and Sensory Needs.

This role is due to commence ASAP. We offer full-time, part-time, or daily supply roles to suit your needs.

Children are likely to be working below age-appropriate levels.

This SEND school in Batley is accessible via public transport and has ample parking. We seek caring, qualified staff who may develop into full-time or supply support roles.

The school provides quality, personalized education for students aged 4 to 19 with complex needs, focusing on their happiness, safety, confidence, and future opportunities.

Requirements

To be considered, you will:

  • Undertake thorough interviews and checks, including an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
  • Have experience supporting SEND learners in mainstream or special needs settings.
  • Have experience with moving and handling in care or school settings.
  • Be available full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30am-3:30pm.

Salary

£77 to £85 per day, dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
