Job description

Salary: £28,322 - £30,257 per year (pro rata)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 18 hours per week

Vacancy Information

The advertised salary is based on full-time hours (35 hours per week). Part-time hours will be pro-rated accordingly.

Hourly rate of pay: £15.52 - £16.58

Working days and hours are negotiable, with flexible start and finish times. The role is to start as soon as possible.

The role involves providing support and engaging clients in our Homes for Older People by developing activity programmes tailored to their needs, preferences, and interests to enhance their quality of life.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications:
Formal qualifications are less important than the knowledge and experience to carry out activities appropriately. Demonstrable relevant experience, skills, and competencies are essential.

PVG Membership:
This position is considered a Regulated Role involving vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as per the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020.

All preferred candidates for regulated roles will need to become or remain members of the PVG Scheme before employment is confirmed. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed and investigated prior to employment.
