Are you an outgoing, creative individual wanting to give back to your local community? Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a part-time Activity Coordinator to join our team based in Redditch at Dorothy Terry House.

About the role

As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting residents to stay connected to the local community and be part of it at Dorothy Terry House. Your responsibilities include:

• Collecting regular feedback from residents on preferred activities
• Arranging and supporting the delivery of a regular activity program
• Supporting and leading small fundraisers to fund activities and entertainment
• Building connections with local organizations, charities, and community groups
• Liaising with community volunteers to support activities

About you

We are looking for an organized and outgoing individual to drive engagement through activities and events. The role is 20 hours per week, including working alternate weekends.

About Dorothy Terry House

Dorothy Terry House in Redditch is a redeveloped Victorian mansion offering 42 modern apartments. Residents enjoy various on-site services, including a lounge, restaurant, hair salon, library, and regular activities. The facility supports those aged 55+ with various health conditions, especially focusing on supporting residents with dementia.
