Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Activities Coordinator in one of our care homes to design engaging activities that support wellbeing, independence and social engagement for residents. You’ll work closely with residents and families, plan imaginative programmes, and help bring a warm, sociable atmosphere to daily life both inside the home and in the local community.

Training is provided to develop your skills, and you’ll be rewarded with a supportive team, flexible guidance, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Warm, empathetic and personable.
• Strong organisational skills and proactive mindset.
• Willingness to participate in training to develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Create imaginative, fun activities tailored to residents.
• Get to know residents and families to tailor programmes.
• Deliver activities within the home and in the local community.
