£12.25 per hour, £12.50 per hour at weekends

That's what this role is all about. As our Activities Co-ordinator, you'll help create days that are more than just routine - you'll create moments that matter.
You'll be working with people who've lived incredible lives. Your job? Helping them keep living in the truest sense - engaged, entertained, included, and valued.
Responsibilities
- Planning and leading a range of meaningful, special events, inclusive activities: from music, art, and games to gentle exercise and themed events.
- Taking time to understand each resident's story, interests, and abilities - and building activities that bring them to life.
- Encouraging involvement at all levels, including residents who are more reserved or living with dementia.
- Creating opportunities for fun, connection, creativity and companionship - every single day.
- Supporting visits, entertainers, community involvement and special celebrations.
- Supporting people to external healthcare appointments
- Welcome new people, visitors and families into the home
Qualifications
- Warm, creative and full of ideas - with a real passion for working with older people.
- Organised, enthusiastic and confident in bringing people together.
- A great communicator who can encourage participation without pressure.
- Someone who understands that even small moments - a singalong, a shared memory, a burst of laughter - can make a big difference.
- Experience in a care setting or activity planning is helpful - but heart, energy and empathy matter most.
