Conway Group Healthcare is seeking an Activities Therapist to plan and run a year‑round, person‑centred activities programme for residents at Brooklands Care Home in Antrim. You will lead group and one‑to‑one activities, with a focus on varied hobbies such as beauty, arts, crafts, music and theatre, while maintaining accurate records and supporting fundraising initiatives.

The role is full-time at a care home in Antrim with an emphasis on compassionate, community‑minded care and documentation

Qualifications

• Experience delivering activities in a care home or similar setting is preferred.
• Programme must be person-centred and varied across a range of activities.
• Accurate documentation to standards is required.

Responsibilities

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Activities Therapist to organise and deliver a programme of activities which will enrich the lives of our residents in Brooklands Care Home, Antrim.

Salary – £14.10 per hour

The Role

• Co-ordinate and deliver an innovative programme of social activities for our residents throughout the year
• Activities should be person centred, catering to a range of individual preferences across abroad spectrum of activities including but not limited to; beauty, relaxation, arts & crafts, music and theatre.
• Responsible for ensuring that all associated documentation is completed and evidenced in line with our standards.
• Fundraising will be required and therefore previous experience will be an advantage.
• Candidates must be enthusiastic, motivated and have the skills necessary to ensure a varied programme of both group & one to one activities are provided to our residents.

About The Role

We need someone will be able to provide social activities to our residents in either a group situation or on a one to one basis. Previous experience of delivery activities within a care home setting is desirable but not essential.
