Mulberry House Residential Home in Bovey Tracey, is looking for a kind and compassionate Wellbeing & Activities Assistant to join the team on a part-time basis.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

As an activities assistant, you will be assisting and participating in the daily activities for residents who reside at the home. Your daily routine will be to offer a range of activities taking account the abilities and preferences of each resident at the home. In this role you will be in charge of liaising with outside entertainment, assist in hosting and planning parties and outings throughout the year. You will also assist in the arranging of fundraising events to encourage involvement with the local community.

ABOUT YOU:

  • No formal qualifications required although previous care experience is beneficial
  • A good level of English
  • A bubbly & friendly personality
  • Good organisational skills
  • The ability to use a camera and social media
  • Basic computer skill

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
