Nellsar’s Lulworth House Residential Care Home in Maidstone is seeking an Activities Coordinator for 24 hours per week on a 3-day rota. The role offers an hourly rate from £13.50 with opportunities for training and progression within the company.

You will help residents maintain physical and mental wellbeing through engaging activities, family communications, and outreach using multiple media. Training and development are provided by Nellsar.

Aufgaben

• Ensuring that residents are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing.
• Organising and planning weekly activity programmes (within allocated budget) reflecting residents’ preferences, & a written rota to be produced. Update activities boards around the home.
• Creating risk assessments for activities and consent forms for families / residents.
• Producing newsletters to inform residents and their relatives/friends about activities / liaise with the Marketing team in typing up activities and producing information for Newsletters.
• Supporting residents to access the internet and other communication methods such as letter writing, Skype and FaceTime.

Contracted hours: 24 hours (3 days per week, over a 7 day rota), days per week discussed at interview
