Job summary

The Cedars, Purton in Swindon, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to create and deliver an engaging programme of activities for 49 residents in a bright, modern care home. You will tailor activities to individual needs, helping residents stay active and connected.

You will work 28 hours per week, 9am–4pm, four days a week, including every other weekend. The role offers a supportive team, training, and opportunities to develop your career in a not-for-profit, resident-focused organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience creating, organising and delivering events and activities.
• Ability to engage with elderly residents in a residential setting.
• Confident in working with community partners.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver an ongoing activities programme for residents.
• Engage residents to promote independence and social interaction.
• Tailor activities to individual interests and needs.
• Collaborate with care staff and families to encourage participation.
