Job summary

Colten Care is seeking an Activity Coordinator for Linden House in Lymington, Hampshire. The role involves creating a varied activities calendar, supporting residents on trips, and promoting social engagement within the home.

You will work with residents, families, and staff to deliver meaningful, enjoyable experiences, bringing energy, creativity, and organisation to daily life at the care home.

Qualifications

• Organised and confident at planning events and encouraging involvement.
• Strong IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a varied calendar of activities reflecting residents' interests (arts, crafts, quizzes, gardening, music, gentle exercise, events).
• Support residents on minibus trips, including personal care where needed.
• Support residents one-to-one and in groups to ensure inclusion.
• Build relationships with residents and families to understand what brings joy.
• Coordinate with the local community for visits and talks.
• Work with the care team to integrate activities into daily life.
• Complete administration to keep records up to date.
• Collaborate with marketing to visualise the team's work.
