Job summary

Look Ahead is seeking an Activities Coordinator/ Community Link for its Forensic Mental Health service in Kingston. The role is 20 hours per week with a salary of 15,400 per annum, and includes enhanced annual leave, pension contributions, life assurance, and DBS at no cost.

You will co-produce a structured rehabilitation programme to help customers rebuild routines, interests, confidence, social connections and community participation as part of progression and move-on.

Responsibilities

• Co-produce an inclusive weekly programme of activities linked to customers' goals.
• Develop partnerships with sports, arts, cultural, educational, volunteering, faith and community organisations across Kingston and South West London.
• Support graded participation, from first accompanied attendance through to independent involvement, volunteering or peer leadership.
• Make sure activities reflect customers' cultures, interests, strengths, physical health, communication needs and individual risk plans.

We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Activities Coordinator/ Community Link to join our Forensic Mental Health service located in Kingston.

15,400.00 per annum, working 20 hours per week.

What you'll bring:

Essential:

• Experience designing or delivering meaningful activities for people with mental health, social care or other complex needs.

Desirable:

• Forensic mental health, relational security and positive risk-taking.

The service is anticipated to open on 4 January 2027, subject to contract finalisation, successful mobilisation and confirmation of operational readiness.
