Hours: 20 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 5 hours per shift, occasional weekends.

The role

We are currently looking to recruit an Activities Coordinator.

Within the role the successful candidate will provide and co-ordinate activities of a social and enabling nature for residents living in our Extra Care Courts. You will provide assistance, support and encouragement to residents living at the Court, through the provision of a varied programme of activities, while you also review and monitor the service, encouraging user participation and feedback. Experience of working with older people and people with disabilities
Awareness of the needs of older people
NVQ in health/care (desirable)
First aid (desirable)
Basic hygiene (desirable)
Moving and handling (desirable)
Prepared to undertake further training where appropriate
