What does the role involve?

  • Build friendships with residents to help them adjust to life in a care home.
  • Deliver high-quality personal and psychological care to all residents professionally.
  • Maintain good communication with the Manager, Senior Care Assistants, Chef, and relatives to ensure smooth operations and cooperation.
  • Complete required records to a satisfactory standard, agreeing on the type and quantity of record-keeping with the manager monthly.
  • Maintain confidentiality of clients, staff, and business information at all times.
  • Plan and coordinate daytime and evening activities.
  • Be aware of and adhere to Health and Safety requirements.
  • Coordinate the activities program with other services and create a monthly planner.
  • Encourage resident participation in activities, document outcomes, and support residents in pursuing their hobbies and interests by creating resident profiles.
  • Work individually and within the team to provide necessary support for all staff, aligning with the home's aims and residents' needs.
