Overview

Activities Coordinator at Manor House Care Home. Contract: Part Time. Salary: £12.21 Per Hour. Shift Type: Days. Contracted hours: 26.

Manor House Care Home is a large, privately-owned service with several specialist divisions, providing tailored care for up to 125 residents.

Responsibilities

As our Activities Coordinator, you will design and deliver a programme of dementia-friendly activities that reflect the interests, abilities, and needs of each resident. You will take the time to get to know residents personally, building trust and tailoring experiences that foster social connection, stimulation, and enjoyment.

From reminiscence sessions and music therapy to creative arts and gentle movement, you will create opportunities that promote confidence, wellbeing, and a sense of belonging. You will keep accurate records of activities and participation, and work closely with families, carers, and the wider team to ensure activities are fully integrated into residents’ care plans.
