Job Title: Lifestyle Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a passionate and organized Lifestyle Activities Coordinator to join our team at Stanley Wilson Lodge Care Home in Saffron Walden, Essex. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and organizing meaningful activities and a lifestyle programme to enrich the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop engaging activities that benefit residents individually or as a group, involving staff, family members, and residents to understand their needs.
  2. Establish partnerships with local community organizations, schools, colleges, and churches to expand activity options.
  3. Plan days out and external activities, requiring a good knowledge of the surrounding area and external organizations.
  4. Promote choice and empower residents to create a social environment that supports their individual outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience in a similar role or in a caring environment is desirable.
  • Organized, well-planned, and passionate about making a positive change.
  • Confident with a fun, proactive attitude.
  • Genuine desire to improve the lives of older people.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
Benefits:
  • Salary: £12.85 - £13.55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
