A leading healthcare provider in Oxford is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan and facilitate engaging activities for residents at a nursing home. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills and a passion for working with older adults. This full-time role offers a pay rate of £12.21 per hour, with a focus on promoting health and wellbeing through diverse activities.
The role of an Activities Coordinator at Oaken Holt Nursing and Residential Home is to ensure that residents are engaged in meaningful and enjoyable activities that promote their health and wellbeing. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and facilitating a range of activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of the residents.
As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive activity program that includes a variety of social, recreational, and therapeutic activities. This may include organizing outings, coordinating group activities, facilitating individual hobbies and interests, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to resident care. The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt to the changing needs and preferences of the residents.
