Job summary

Bridge Oak Care Homes in Nottingham is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator for Rivendell Care Home. You will plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to residents, creating a warm, inclusive social environment and supporting hobbies and community involvement.

This full-time role (35 hours weekly, with occasional evenings/weekends) offers a friendly, patient-centred workplace, ongoing learning, and opportunities to make a meaningful difference in residents' lives.

Qualifications

• Experience working with older adults or in a care setting is a plus.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Activities Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in enriching the lives of residents by:

• Planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to individual interests and abilities
• Creating a warm, inclusive, and social environment for all
• Supporting residents in maintaining existing hobbies and discovering new ones
• Organising social events, seasonal celebrations, and community involvement
• Coordinating outings and excursions to promote wellbeing and variety
• Working closely with care staff and families to support holistic wellbeing
• Recording participation and feedback to ensure meaningful engagement
