Job summary

Bridge Oak Care Homes is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join Colton Lodges in Leeds. This permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week) includes occasional evenings and weekends and requires a warm, creative approach to enriching residents' lives.

You’ll plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to individual interests, support wellbeing, and collaborate with care staff and families to build a friendly, inclusive community where residents feel at home.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or activity settings is a bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Activities Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of residents by:

• Planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to individual interests and abilities
• Creating a warm, inclusive, and social environment for all
• Supporting residents in maintaining existing hobbies and discovering new ones
• Organising social events, seasonal celebrations, and community involvement
• Coordinating outings and excursions to promote wellbeing and variety
• Working closely with care staff and families to support holistic wellbeing
• Recording participation and feedback to ensure meaningful engagement
