Location: Bromley by Bow Centre

Salary: £27,050.40 per annum (0.5 FTE, prorated £13,525.20 per annum)

Hours: 17.5 Hours per week

Job Type: Part-time

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract

The Role

The Activities Coordinator will help develop activities for members of the community accessing our Social Care and Open Access services. The role includes expanding social, creative, and physical activity sessions at the Centre, in our 3-acre park, and at venues across the North East of the borough. This is a new position, offering the opportunity to shape the role and its delivery for the community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Activity and timetable coordination: Coordinate and timetable activities based on community needs, supporting recruitment and onboarding of coaches and facilitators.
  2. Participant engagement and facilitation: Build relationships, facilitate connections, raise awareness of services, and support community-driven activity development.
  3. Service development: Adapt activities over time to meet community needs, working closely with delivery teams to ensure responsiveness and inclusivity across open access and targeted sessions.
Essential Criteria
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a similar coordination role
  • Minimum 12 months experience in stakeholder management
  • Experience supporting individuals with a personalized approach
