This is a full-time, on-site role where you will plan, organise, and facilitate a variety of activities and events designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents. You’ll also maintain records of activities and gather feedback to continuously improve our programme.

We especially welcome applicants with backgrounds in high-energy entertainment, group facilitation, or guest engagement—such as those who have worked in roles involving event hosting, activity planning, or recreational leadership in lively, guest-focused settings such as cruise ships and holiday parks.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and Deliver Dynamic Activities: Plan and lead a varied calendar of events, from themed parties and games to arts & crafts, music sessions, quizzes, and more.
  • Create Lasting Memories: Facilitate group events and one-to-one sessions, ensuring every resident feels included, valued, and inspired to participate.
  • Be the Heart of the Community: Host daily activities with enthusiasm, bringing people together and fostering a sense of fun and belonging.
  • Innovate and Collaborate: Work with our team to develop fresh ideas, adapting popular entertainment and group activities to suit our residents’ interests and abilities.
  • Build Meaningful Connections: Get to know our residents, tailoring activities to their preferences and encouraging everyone to join in.
  • Maintain Records and Gather Feedback: Keep detailed records of activities and use resident feedback to enhance our offerings.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication Skills: Able to engage and motivate individuals and groups.
  • Skills in Training and Fundraising: Ability to support and enhance our activity programmes.
  • Excellent Organisational and Time Management Skills: Juggle multiple tasks and events with ease.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Previous Experience in a similar role or setting is a plus.

  • Entertainment or Guest Engagement Experience: Background in group activities, event hosting, or guest entertainment.
  • Experience in Elder Care and/or Mental Health Support: Understanding the unique needs of our residents.

Why Join Aspen Hill Village?

  • Exceptional Facilities: Enjoy working in a beautiful, well-equipped setting designed for both residents and staff.
