Job summary

This role as an Activities Coordinator at Hamilton Nursing Home in Surbiton, Surrey, offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of the residents. You will be responsible for planning and facilitating engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of the home's 39 residents, who have residential, nursing, and dementia care needs. Main duties of the job

As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a diverse range of activities that stimulate the residents both physically and mentally. This may include arts and crafts, music sessions, reminiscence activities, exercise classes, and outings. You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with the residents and understand their individual preferences and abilities. Strong planning and organizational skills are also essential to ensure the activities are well-prepared and effectively implemented.
