As an Activities Coordinator you will ensure a stimulating environment is provided for the residents within the care home, working both on your own and collaboratively with care staff to provide a regular programme of activities with fun and engaging pursuits on offer daily.
Every Activity Coordinator brings their own ideas to the role and will find their own unique strengths, but it is essential to offer a varied and diverse programme to engage residents with a manner of different interests. You will be working in an established, charity-owned elderly Care Home for up to 45 residents based in Farnham. They are located only a short 10-minute walk from Farnham train station, and also offer free parking at the home.
Previous Activities Coordinator, Wellbeing Assistant or Lifestyles Coordinator experience is preferred as you will be creating and maintaining an inspiring programme of leisure pursuits and social events. However, enthusiastic Care Assistants and Senior Carers with previous activities experience are also encouraged to apply.
This is a full time, permanent Activities role working 37.5 hours per week, and paying a starting salary of £14.36ph weekdays, and an increased rate of £16.36ph for any hours at weekend. The shifts core hours are working between 9am-5pm, however with some flexibility.
The home also have a part time Activities Coordinator role available, working 2 days per week, a total of 15 hours.
