The Activities Coordinator role at Aria Healthcare's Magna Care Centre in Wimborne is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of the residents. As the Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a diverse range of activities that cater to the interests and needs of the 69-bed residential, dementia care, and nursing home. With a focus on enhancing the quality of life for the residents, you will need strong interpersonal and organizational skills to ensure every day is filled with engaging and enriching experiences.

Main duties of the job

The key responsibilities of the Activities Coordinator include:- Developing and implementing a comprehensive activities program that promotes physical, cognitive, and social well-being for the residents- Collaborating with the care team to understand the individual needs and preferences of each resident- Organizing and leading group activities, outings, and events that foster a sense of community and engagement- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the activities program- Ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants- Continuously seeking feedback and ideas from residents, families, and the care team to enhance the activities program
