Job description

The Activities Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing a diverse range of activities and events to engage and enrich the lives of the residents at Ferfoot Care Home. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and a passion for improving the wellbeing of the elderly.

Main duties of the job

As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive activity program that caters to the diverse interests and needs of the residents. This includes organizing group activities, one-on-one sessions, and outings. You will work closely with the care team to ensure that the activities align with the residents' care plans and preferences. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a genuine interest in enhancing the quality of life for the residents.

Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, a creative mindset, and strong interpersonal skills. A relevant qualification in a related field, such as activities coordination, social work, or leisure and recreation, would be an advantage.
