Job summary

Exemplar Health Care in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an Activities Coordinator at Scotia Heights care home. You will plan and lead meaningful activities to help residents live fulfilled and happy lives, with strong emphasis on person-centred care.

You’ll organise individual plans, foster group activities, support hobbies and community involvement, and celebrate special days. No two days are alike, and we’ll support your induction and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in care not essential; induction, buddy and training provided.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to lead activities and work within a team.

Care home: Scotia Heights

Location: Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 4HA

Contract type: Part time, 20 hours per week, weekends required

Rate: £13.21

Care home CQC rating: Rated ‘Good’ by CQC

Our Activities Coordinators organise creative and fun activities for the people we support.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
