Job description

About The Role

In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do.

Every single person who works here understands that our Residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.

As an Activities Co-ordinator at Haywood Lodge, your responsibilities will include planning and implementing activities that delight our Residents, assisting the Home Manager with organising fundraising events, and encouraging socialisation and engagement based on Residents’ hobbies. You will work with the care home team to promote kindness and support Residents' well-being.

We are looking for someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to get along with people, and excellent planning, organisational, and IT skills are essential. You should be able to manage your time effectively and communicate with consideration and kindness.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You must be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know the appropriate steps to take if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
