HC-One Ltd. is seeking a part-time Activities Co-ordinator to enhance the lives of residents in their care homes. The role involves planning engaging activities, fostering social interactions, and supporting fundraising efforts. Ideal candidates will possess a caring attitude, experience with vulnerable individuals, and strong organisational skills.
In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Note: This role is part-time, 21 hours/week, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
We are looking for someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to get along with people, planning and organisational skills, and kindness are essential. Good IT skills and effective time management are also important. You should communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues. Safeguarding awareness is crucial, including recognising signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and knowing how to report concerns.
