Job description

In your role as anActivities Co-ordinator at Lomond Court, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person working here understands that our Residents are individuals with their own stories. Role Responsibilities
  1. Planning and implementing activities that delight Residents.
  2. Assisting the Home Manager with organizing fundraising events.
  3. Encouraging Residents to socialise more effectively and involving the care team in activities.
Candidate Requirements
  1. Experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably developing activity programmes.
  2. Positive energy, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to get along with people.
  3. Strong planning, organisational, and IT skills.
  4. Considerate and kind communication with Residents and colleagues.
  5. Understanding of safeguarding principles and ability to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect.
