Location: Talbot View -Bournemouth -BH104HG

Payrate: £12.30 per hour

Hours: Part time 25 hours per week to include alternate weekends

Join Our Team:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Activities Assistant to join the team at Talbot View, our modern, frail elderly and dementia residential care home. With strong ties to the Ensbury Park Community and promoting an open and inclusive atmosphere, Talbot View is located in Bournemouth.

What you will be doing:

  • You will assist in providing a range of imaginative and enjoyable social and therapeutic activities to our residents, some of whom are living with dementia
  • Delivering an ongoing calendar of social events and activities for residents covering their personal interests
  • Maintaining awareness of our resident’s changing needs, raising concerns were necessary
  • Assist in mealtimes when required and promote a social, calm and enjoyable experience
  • Provide encouragement and support to enable our residents to remain as independent as possible
  • This role requires you to work flexible hours but they can fit in around your lifestyle


Who are we looking for:

You are social and outgoing with excellent communication skills, you've got good time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks. You also work well in a team environment.
