Job summary

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) invites applications for an Activist Learning and Development Officer working across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The role focuses on delivering learning and development opportunities to RCN representatives and activists, online and in person, to support the RCN’s five-year strategy from a servicing to an organising model.

The role requires ability to deliver sessions to diverse audiences, knowledge of accessibility, willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Experience delivering learning to a range of audiences.
• Knowledge of delivery styles and accessibility issues.
• Background in healthcare is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Deliver learning and development opportunities to RCN reps and activists through online and in-person sessions.
• Support learning delivery across all four nations of the UK as required; travel and overnight stays will be necessary.
