Job summary

Trafford Council's Public Health Directorate is seeking an organised, proactive administrator to support active travel projects across Trafford. You will work with residents, schools and partners to keep programmes running smoothly and deliver health and climate benefits to communities.

The role offers hybrid working with some evenings and weekends, and travel across Trafford. If you are motivated by improving places and health, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to local communities.

Responsibilities

• Providing administrative and project support across Trafford's active travel programme.
• Organising meetings, workshops, site visits and community engagement activities.
• Preparing agendas, reports, presentations and meeting notes.
• Maintaining project documentation, records, databases and monitoring information.
• Supporting consultation and engagement activities with residents, schools, community groups and partner organisations.
• Assisting with project monitoring, performance reporting and action tracking.
• Supporting financial administration, procurement processes and budget monitoring.
• Responding to enquiries from residents, stakeholders and elected members.
• Working closely with colleagues across the Council, Transport for Greater Manchester and other partner organisations to support the delivery of walking, wheeling and cycling initiatives.
