Civic Recruitment Limited is recruiting for an Active Travel Project Manager to deliver the Council's Capital Programme in Taunton. The role manages schemes valued at over £9 million, with a 29-month contract and a 22-hour week pattern.

The post involves development, design, procurement and delivery across the project lifecycle, working with the Service Manager, Principal Transport Planner, and diverse stakeholders within a public sector framework.

Formación

• Significant experience managing transport or active travel projects.
• Experience leading projects through planning, design, procurement and delivery.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with public sector governance processes.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Service Manager and Principal Transport Planner in delivering schemes.
• Lead projects through development, design, scheme preparation, and pre-construction phases.
• Manage projects day-to-day until transition to construction delivery.
• Coordinate consultation and engagement with communities, elected members, partners, and statutory bodies.
• Support compliance with funding requirements, design standards, and Active Travel England guidance.
