Salary: £10,959 - £11,218 per year

Contract Type: Temporary

Hours: 16 hours per week

Job Description

Working in a primary school and local community, you will work 16 hours per week.

Requirements
  • SVQ Level 3 in a Sport or physical activity related field and/or work-related experience.
Responsibilities

As part of a dynamic Leisure and Sport Section, you will contribute to the section’s social objectives by developing programmes and activities with schools within the Active Schools services. You will develop and introduce a range of programmes, events and festivals and identify opportunities to improve the services and increase lifelong participation for Dundee children.

The Individual

You will have practical experience in sports coaching, experience of organising participation programmes, and experience of assisting in the organisation of events/festivals. You will also have experience of supporting coaches or volunteers. Experience of marketing and promoting activities/programmes is also required, as well as the ability to use a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Word. You should have good presentation, communication (verbal and written), and people skills, along with the ability to organise workload and time effectively.
