Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Postie in Neston to deliver letters and parcels in the local area, working a 30-hour week on a rotating shift including weekends. You will sort mail, walk routes, and drive a Royal Mail van daily, building strong customer relationships while delivering reliable service in all weather conditions.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, physical fitness for long walks, and the ability to work outdoors with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, lift 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently
