Job summary

Royal Mail in Liphook is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term 9-month contract to deliver letters and parcels in the local area. You will work a 37-hour week on a rotating shift, including weekends, with full training, a uniform, and a protected route schedule.

Applicants must have a full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points) and be physically fit for long walks, stairs, and 10 kg+ bags. Overtime is paid and benefits include pension support and wellbeing resources.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10 kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area
