Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Postie to join the Horsham Delivery Office. You will deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot, working outdoors in all weather, and building strong relationships with customers. The role involves a 37-hour week over a 5-in-7 rota, with weekends and Sundays shifts included.

Full training provided, plus a uniform and red van. Benefits include pension, wellbeing support, and additional allowances.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift/carry 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in busy environments
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
