Job summary

Royal Mail Langport Delivery Office is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels across Langport. You'll work outdoors, in all weathers, on a rotating shift, 37 hours per week, five days in seven, including Sundays on a 1-in-3 basis.

Full training provided. You'll need a full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points, readiness to drive the Royal Mail van daily, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required with up to 6 penalty points.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and walk long distances.
• Reliable, self-motivated and well-organised for a busy route.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot within the local area.
• Build relationships with customers and work independently.
• Adapt to rotating shifts and varying delivery routes.
