Job summary

Driver Hire Exeter is recruiting for a Retail Logistics Assistant in Exeter to support logistics warehouse and retail operations by delivering and collecting stock between Devon shops. The role involves handling items from clothing to furniture, with 22.5 hours per week and a flexible schedule including weekends and bank holidays.

Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and meet insurance-required driving experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Must have completed 90 days commercial driving within in the last 6 months, for insurance purposes.
• Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties.
• Be reliable, organised, and able to work independently.
• Have good communication and record-keeping skills.
• Be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Previous experience in logistics, delivery driving, warehouse work, or retail would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect stock between retail locations across Devon.
• Safely transport a variety of items.
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring stock is handled carefully and securely.
• Support stock rotation and stock management processes.
• Maintain accurate stock and delivery records.
• Assist with warehouse and retail logistics operations.
• Handle cash and complete associated paperwork when required.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the organisation.
