Royal Mail Group in Minehead is recruiting a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term contract for 9 months. You will deliver letters and parcels across the local area, working a 37-hour week with a rotating shift pattern, including some weekends, and a 0800–1600 window.

The role requires a full manual UK driving licence, the ability to pass a driving assessment, and the fitness to walk long distances and carry mailbags.

Qualifications

• Must have full manual UK driving licence and be able to pass driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and work outdoors in all weathers.
• Reliable, self-motivated and customer-focused in a busy delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot in Minehead
• Build relationships with customers
• Work outdoors in all weathers
