Job summary

Royal Mail in Llandeilo is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels from the Llandeilo Delivery Office. You will work on a rotating schedule across Monday to Saturday, with a 24:00 hours per week and overtime opportunities.

A uniform and a red van are provided, and full training is offered. You must hold a full manual UK driving licence (max 6 points) and be able to pass a driving assessment.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required (max 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van and pass driving assessment.
• Physically able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated with strong organisational skills.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Work outdoors in all weather.
• Deliver high volumes of mail, especially during peak periods.
