Royal Mail Group in Bishop Auckland is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for a permanent role at Wear Valley Delivery Office. You'll deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot, in a 5-days-in-7 rotating schedule, with weekend work.

You’ll receive full training, a uniform, and a reliable benefits package with pension and wellbeing support. A full manual UK driving licence and fitness for long walks are required.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
• Willingness to pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience for a busy environment
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
