Main Purpose

To support the Active Communities Coordinator (Herefordshire) to ensure the operational and administrative tasks of the Feel Good For Life (FGFL) programme run smoothly.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
  1. To support the Active Communities Coordinator (Herefordshire) ACC(H) with the delivery of our activity programmes for older people and in responding to the identified needs with our community network.
  2. To assist with all aspects of the delivery of the programme for people living with dementia, loneliness and depression (Feel Good For Life) by administering and supporting the ACC(H) in the operation of weekly sessions in Herefordshire and the promotion of the benefits of physical activity to all partners, volunteers and potential participants.
  3. The provision of administrative support to the recruitment, induction of and recognition of high quality volunteers for the Feel Good For Life programme.
  4. The recording of outcomes, impact mapping, participant feedback, photographic and written evidence on the effect and influence of our programme for reporting to our partners, key stakeholders and the Halo Media and Marketing Team.
  5. Assisting the ACC(H) in delivering all programmes in the most effective and efficient manner at all times.
  6. Helping the ACC(H) in liaising with local organisations in the third sector, health, care and social services to manage all referrals and registrations into the programme.
  7. In the absence of the ACC(H), to deputise in the physical delivery and coordination of the weekly Feel Good For Life sessions.
  8. Assist in capturing the impact of the programme.
  9. To maintain comprehensive knowledge of best practice in equality, diversity and safeguarding.
