Job summary

G-NIUS | Powered by Goodman Masson is seeking a reliable caretaker to keep estates and communal spaces clean, safe and welcoming. The role covers grounds maintenance, cleaning, recycling, and resident support, with independent and team work.

You will be out and about, spotting issues, taking pride in getting tasks done, and providing a friendly service to residents and colleagues. A full driving licence and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment.
• Gardening, grounds maintenance, cleaning or caretaking.
• Familiar with mowing, strimming and hedge trimming.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Practical, proactive approach and problem solving.
• Good numeracy and written skills; smartphone to record work.
• Full driving licence.
• Willing to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Keep neighbourhoods looking their best through cleaning and grounds maintenance.
• Make a visible difference by mowing, strimming, hedge trimming and maintaining communal areas.
• Support residents by answering queries and providing excellent service.
• Carry out estate inspections and report or resolve issues.
• Manage waste, recycling and energy efficiency tasks.
• Help prepare homes for letting, including cleaning and minor repairs.
• Record work using manual or digital systems.
• Work with colleagues, contractors and residents to improve neighbourhoods.
• Be flexible to cover weekends and bank holidays as needed.
