Litigation Solicitor – Actions Against the Police
Location: Liverpool City Centre
Salary: Competitive, DOE + Benefits

A well-established and highly regarded specialist litigation firm in the heart of Liverpool is seeking an experienced and ambitious Litigation Solicitor to join its thriving Actions Against the Police department.

This close-knit team has built a stellar reputation for handling complex and high-profile claims against policing authorities. Due to continued growth and an increase in instructions, the firm is looking to expand its dedicated team of four.

You will manage a varied and rewarding caseload, including matters such as wrongful arrest, false imprisonment, unlawful detention and breaches of human rights. You’ll be responsible for your own files from instruction through to conclusion, with the majority of cases being litigated.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor (NQ–5 years PQE+)
  • Solid litigation experience, ideally with exposure to civil liberties or public law
  • Strong case management and client care skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach
