This temporary post is only available to all permanent and temporary employees and agency workers currently on assignment within East Dunbartonshire Council.

For roles within East Dunbartonshire Council where PVG/Disclosure checks are essential, successful candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment is confirmed. The cost of the check will be deducted from the first salary payment, or in some cases, in installments from wages following employment commencement, with approval from the HR & OD Manager. If an employee leaves before deduction, the full amount will be deducted from the final salary.
This requirement applies to both new applicants and existing employees applying for roles requiring a PVG/Disclosure check.
