Job description

Actemium Rail is seeking to recruit Full-Time, Permanent Installation Electricians and Approved Electricians to support our ongoing growth in the rail sector. We are experiencing increased project awards for HS2 and Network Rail new builds, along with infrastructure enhancements, necessitating the expansion of our in-house rail team.

Requirements:

• Must meet the standards outlined in the JIB Handbook.
• Knowledge and experience with Low/Medium Voltage networks, including switching methods.
• Relevant experience in rail installations to support current and future projects.
• Based in Coventry, with the willingness to work at various client locations across the UK.
• Flexibility with working hours, including nights, weekends, and travel.
• Good education and understanding of Health and Safety compliance.
• Qualifications: CSCS or ECS Card, IPAF, 18th Edition, and Personal Track Safety (PTS) accreditation (if applicable).
• JIB approval is preferred.

Typical Duties:

• General and smart lighting installation.
• Electrical maintenance.
• First and second fix wiring, trunking, power sockets, etc.
• Cable pulling and related tasks.
