We are seeking to recruit an EV Charging Maintenance Electrician to join our expanding EV charging business unit. The role involves maintaining electric vehicle charging infrastructure across UK sites. Candidates should have prior EV charging maintenance experience and be willing to travel to different sites daily. Overnight stays may be required, but most nights will be at home.

The Role:

This field-based role involves visiting client sites to maintain EV charging equipment (mainly DC chargers), ensuring work is completed safely, tidily, and with excellent customer communication.

• Conduct commissioning, routine maintenance, and upgrades of networked commercial charging units.
• Perform corrective maintenance, repairs, or replacements as needed.
• Conduct site surveys for project pricing and liaise with clients on site.
• Training on various EV charger brands will be provided.

Weekend work is optional; overtime is available on weekdays.

• Required certifications: ECS Gold Card (Installation Electrician) or equivalent.
• Experience in EV charging installation or maintenance is advantageous.
• Experience with DBs & panel boards.
• Willing to travel (expenses compensated).
• Able to stay away from home a few nights per month.
• NVQ Level 3.
• Organized, disciplined, and reliable.
• Professional, friendly, and engaging personality.
• Good communication skills (written and oral).
