About the Role
Acting as a Working Supervisor (Electrical Bias). Responsible under CDM:2015 as Site Manager/Supervisor who reports directly to the Project Manager/Contracts Engineer. Responsible for productivity on site in line with the project timing plan (programme).

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of H&S and deliverables on site.
  • Translation of site plans & detailed design drawings – Civils & Electrical.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the project team.
  • Interaction with clients/stakeholders.
  • Installation of Electrical & Control Systems.
  • Installation of Cable Containment Systems.
  • Electrical Testing & Commissioning.
  • Low Voltage Switching.
  • Electrical Safe Isolation Procedures.
  • Daily Control and Management of Permits and Inspections.
  • Implement & Maintain Safe Systems of Work.
  • Responsible for daily permits and weekly H&S audits.
  • Supervision of operatives and subcontractors under their responsibility.

Memberships, Skills & Qualifications

  • ECS/ JIB Gold Card – Approved Electrician (Minimum).
  • ECS/ JIB Black Card – Electrical Site Manager (Desirable).
  • Completed Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition Regs or equivalent.
  • City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS or IOSH equivalent.
  • City & Guilds LV Authorised Person or equivalent.
  • Full First Aider.
  • Fire Awareness & Safety.
  • IPAF/ PASMA.
  • HSG47.
