The Role
  • Establishing customer requirements and producing user requirements and technical specifications.
  • Allocating resources based on skills, experience, and qualifications to execute engineering and design activities.
  • Coordinating and supervising engineers and designers, providing technical guidance for planning and execution.
  • Ensuring the quality of all engineering design deliverables and adherence to company procedures.
  • Conducting engineering studies, investigations, and producing reports.
  • Completing projects cost-effectively and on time, within budgets and schedules.
  • Staying updated on technological developments and industry trends.
The Person
  • Experience in a regulated, quality-assured system, preferably nuclear, relying on professional engineering judgment.
  • Experience in roles where design is a major component.
  • Expertise in specific engineering areas with a proven track record.
  • Leadership ability within an engineering function and resource management.
  • Successful delivery of engineering projects, influencing professional engineers in work package definition and implementation.
  • Strategic guidance skills based on project knowledge and experience.
